love is in the air
Every time we hear the word Valentines we think WOW BAR.
Valentines Day 14th February
Valentine's Day Meaning: A Day of Romance and Love During the Middle Ages, it was commonly believed in France and England that February 14 was the beginning of birds' mating season, which added to the idea that the middle of Valentine's Day should be a day for romance.
In the common day, we think more about lavish gifts and expensive dinners, champagne, a dozen roses sent and just about as much jazz and excitement as we can rustle up over our gushing instagram posts....
However, if you want to be a little more relaxed about the whole affair, we've put a list of a few ideas below you could consider when treating a loved one for Valentines Day this year.
Obviously our first choice, would be the Manns Cookie - THE WOW BAR. Nothing is beating this one, there's only goodness so there's no worry about an inch to the hips, vegan and vegetarian friendly, so it's sure to be a gift that anyone and everyone can enjoy.
A put together Hamper: whether its' a selection of savoury (cheese, port, pickles and crackers) or something sweet (Manns cookies, confectionary, popcorn and champagne)... a well thought personal hamper is special to anyone, best of all you can custom your purchases to suit your budget. Amazon have some great offers on things, you can buy it all in once place! Here is a little build your own hamper set we found.
Roses - why send 12 when you can send one that can be kept? This beautiful Year Long rose can be kept alive and enjoyed day after day. Click here for the alternative idea.
If you really want to 'splash the cash' this Valentines, what about Carey's Manor the beautiful 5* spa, which really is devine. Take a look at their offers here.
Whatever your plans, remember it isn't the gift or the day - it is who you share the other 364 days a year with. The importance is to love and look after the people we love every day - not just a day that's made for us to celebrate.
Enjoy your weekend.
Best Cookie Wishes
