Learning a foreign language, starting from grade 1.
When choosing a future school, you should pay attention to when they start teaching English there. Indeed, in the very first year of study, it is quite difficult to simultaneously study two languages, two variants of writing and grammar.
Therefore, it is better to start learning a foreign language a year before school. It is worth noting that homework will have to be done together with the child, you can ask for help from a teacher or tutor or professional essay writers. If one of the parents is ready to take on the role of a tutor, it is important not to overdo it so as not to discourage the child in general from the desire to study additionally. But there is no need to become a substitute for a teacher either.
Is there a need to help the child if the school asked too much?
First, you need to understand the current situation. In general, parents do not need to overly closely monitor the amount of homework. A schoolchild can have too many tasks only if he was sent to a strong school and the child cannot cope with such loads. Then ask the teacher for help, arrange additional classes. It is worth explaining to the child that if something is not clear to him, then you should always ask the teacher to explain the information again. But if such a situation is observed systematically, it is worth sorting it out and finding out whether it is the teacher’s fault, or just the child behaves inattentively during classes.
First-graders do not yet know how to read well, so they do not understand the tasks
It is worth explaining to the child that first he must read the task himself and only then one of the adults. But this order of things is allowed only in the 1st grade, for the 2nd one it is no longer possible to do this. Parents can write down tasks only during the period when the child still does not know how to write well. Further, these responsibilities are completely transferred to the student.
