With our OPERA IN THE GARDEN charity event in aid of Força - strength against cancer on 29th June at Manns Cookies HQ, we thought we would give you some tips on how to pack the perfect picnic for any event.
Whether you are heading to the forest, or an evening boating or seaside - this list is sure to help you!
Here's a list of classic picnic items that can help you create a delightful outdoor dining experience:
Blanket or Picnic Mat: Choose a comfortable and large blanket or picnic mat to spread out and sit on.
Picnic Basket or Cooler: Use a traditional picnic basket or a cooler bag to carry and store your food and drinks.
Sandwiches and Wraps: Prepare an assortment of delicious sandwiches and wraps with various fillings like ham, turkey, chicken, veggies, or cheese. Opt for condiments on the side to prevent sogginess.
Fresh Fruits: Pack a selection of refreshing fruits such as strawberries, grapes, watermelon, or sliced melons. They provide a light and healthy option for snacking.
Salads: Prepare flavorful salads such as pasta salad, potato salad, or a refreshing green salad. Ensure to pack dressings separately.
Snacks and Finger Foods: Include some finger-friendly snacks like chips, pretzels, veggie sticks, or hummus for easy munching.
Beverages: Don't forget to pack a range of beverages, such as bottled water, soda, iced tea, or lemonade. If you prefer adult beverages, consider wine, beer, or premixed cocktails.
